Position Overview:
The Podcast Producer Intern at Projxon will help develop and produce engaging podcast content that aligns with the organization’s mission and marketing initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in media production, storytelling, and brand communication while working alongside a collaborative marketing and creative team. The ideal candidate is passionate about audio production, current industry trends, and creating meaningful conversations that connect with listeners.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, record, and edit podcast episodes from concept to final production.

Coordinate with hosts, guests, and the marketing team to ensure smooth scheduling and episode delivery.

Manage audio files, show notes, and publishing across streaming platforms.

Assist in developing promotional materials and social media content to grow audience reach.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in audio editing software (Audacity, Adobe Audition, GarageBand, or similar).

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality audio content.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with podcast publishing platforms (Spotify for Podcasters, Apple Podcasts, etc.).

Knowledge of storytelling structure, scriptwriting, and interview techniques.

Familiarity with basic sound mixing and noise reduction.

Interest in marketing, branding, or content strategy.

Internship Details:

Hours: 10-30 hours per week (part-time).

Duration: 180 days, starting from the agreed upon start date.

Compensation: This internship is unpaid and designed for educational purposes only.

Location: Remote (U.S.-based time zones preferred, but open to international candidates).
