Equipment Maintenance Technician/ Grounds Person
What you'll do
- Perform routine maintenance on trucks, chippers, chainsaws, blowers, and other equipment
- Handle basic repairs and keep the shop organized and running clean
- Operate equipment on jobsites — including skid steers and other loaders for moving logs and debris
- Support the crew in the field with groundsman-type work
What we're looking for
- Mechanically inclined — you know your way around small engines and equipment
- Dependable and detail-oriented — maintenance only works if it actually gets done
- Comfortable working both in the shop and out in the field
- Experience with equipment operation or small engine repair is a plus — we'll train the right person
- Certifications (CDL, small engine, etc.) are a bonus but not required
- Comfortable with doing ground work for a tree company
