Dental Assisting Intern

Franklin Dental Care & Dentures is seeking motivated, hands-on interns who are eager to explore the world of dentistry. Whether you're considering a future as a Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, EFDA, or any clinical dental pathway, this internship provides real experience, real mentorship, and real growth opportunities in a supportive environment.

What You'll Do

As a Dental Auxiliary / Assisting Intern, you will have the opportunity to:

• Support dental assistants and hygienists with daily clinical operations
• Observe and learn chariside assisting techniques. 
• Prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage basic clinical setups. 
• Assist with patient flow and communicate with patients in a professional manner.
• Learn dental terminology, charting basics, and office processes. 
• In exposure to X-ray protocols, impressions, and treatment prep (as allowed)
• Collaborate with office leadership and clinical teams to understand the full patient experience

You will always be trained and supervised; this is a learning-first role designed for students.

No clinical experience required, we will train you!

Transportation Requirements

• Applicants must currently live within commuting distance. Long-distance applicants will not be considered.
