Marketing Specialist-Intern

JOB SUMMARY
Working closely with the marketing communications team, the intern will assist in completing a new website for Weil-McLain that will house all of our collateral and digital files that will serve as a marketing tool for our customers. This intern will also support Marley Engineered Products through modifying current graphic files and creating new designs.
 
Intern benefits:

- Mentorship: Support of five marketing professionals within marcom team to mentor talent
 
The successful incumbent will have an educational background in graphic design with a strong command of Adobe software.  Must be detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Create customized content for contractors and distributor
  • Create new design templates
  • Maintain consistent naming practice for print and web-only files for overall consistency, brand loyalty and SEO
  • Assist in assigning appropriate access levels
  • Support Lead Gen projects: content versioning to be used in multiple media mixes
  • Support implementation of new Digital Asset Manager (DAM): Assist in asset library enhancements through the addition of application images and product images
 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE   

  • At least junior level in a Bachelor's program majoring in Graphic Design / Marketing
  • 3.0/4.0 GPA or bette
  • Strong interest in the fields of Marketing, Digital/Print Marketing and Graphic Design
  • Strong knowledge Adobe CC: with primary application of Adobe InDesign
  • Working knowledge of: Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
  • Comfortable working in an environment with rapidly changing deadlines, workloads, and goals
