Information Technology Support Associate (15360)

This position is responsible for working with the other ITSA to provide IT and AV support for learning spaces and meeting rooms. This includes direct support, operation, planning and maintenance of these facilities on the SIUE campus and possible remote locations. The ITSA assists in the research, testing, recommendations, and setup for clients pertaining to lab, classroom, and web conferencing hardware and software purchases. Furthermore, this position assists in lab, classroom, and conferencing technology planning for clients and involves client training. The successful candidate will also direct the work of student workers, including assigning duties, supporting clients, and responding to issues. This position may be assigned other related tasks in support of the department’s mission and goals.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
1.     High school graduation or equivalent.
 
2.     Any combination totaling one year from the following categories:
(a)    Progressively more responsible work experience in an Information Technology (IT) related profession.
(b)    College course work which included Information Technology (IT), or a closely related discipline, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
60 semester hours or Associate’s Degree equals one year
