Customer Engagement Intern

Seeking students interested in gaining practical experience in customer engagement, project coordination, and healthcare IT.

  • Position: Customer Engagement Intern
  • Duration: August 12th, 2024 – April 25th, 2025
  • Part time, working 15 – 29 hours/week
  • Remote, based in Michigan (Eastern Time Zone)
  • Wage: $14/hour 

The company is currently not authorized to support remote work employees in the following locations: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Delaware, Idaho, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, Utah, Wyoming. 

The student internship program accepts international students with up-to-date work authorization for off-campus employment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Onboarding Support: Assist in coordinating the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring they have a seamless experience integrating our software solutions into their systems.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule and organize client-facing meetings, including setting agendas, arranging logistics, and ensuring all necessary parties are informed and prepared.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend client meetings alongside senior team members, take detailed notes, and assist in documenting action items and decisions.
  • Documentation Management: Support the team in updating and maintaining documentation related to software features, client specifications, and project progress.
  • Customer Support Liaison: Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and professional responses or escalating issues to the appropriate team members.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with software development, account management, and product management teams to relay customer insights and contribute to ongoing product improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Interest in healthcare information technology as a career path.
  • Ability to effectively build rapport in a remote working environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be legally eligible to work in the US and off-campus. 
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital tools like Zoom, JIRA, Confluence, HubSpot CRM, Microsoft Outlook, and Teams.
