🛡️ Job Opportunity: Park Ranger (Protection) 🛡️

📌 Key Responsibilities:
Law Enforcement: Enforce federal laws, regulations, and policies to protect park resources and visitors.
Patrol Duties: Patrol both front country and backcountry sites to ensure compliance and safety.
Emergency Response: Be part of emergency services like medical response, search and rescue, and fire suppression (wildland/structural).
Visitor Support: Guide visitor orientation, wilderness management, and boundary enforcement while protecting natural and cultural resources.
Investigations: Assist with investigating felonies, crimes, public use violations, and motor vehicle accidents.
Crowd Control: Manage crowds in busy areas to ensure safety and compliance.
📌 Additional Duties for GS-7 Level:
Conduct law enforcement investigations into misdemeanor violations independently.
Assist Type I commissioned personnel with investigating felony violations and fatalities.

Montana: Crow Agency, Fort Smith, Saint Mary, West Glacier, Yellowstone National Park
New Mexico: Cibola County, Alamogordo, Albuquerque, Carlsbad, Hot Springs, Mountainair, Nageezi, Pecos
Texas: Ganado, Salt Flat
Utah: Cedar City, Jensen, Torrey, Devils Tower, Lovell, Bryce Canyon, Escalante, Hanksville, Moab, Monticello, New Harmony, Springdale, San Juan County, Colter Bay
Wyoming: Moose, Lovell, Yellowstone National Park
Oklahoma: Sulphur
