Movie Premiere Sales & Marketing Intern (Unpaid, In-Person or Remote)

As a Sales & Marketing Intern, you will be at the forefront of our premiere events, helping drive ticket sales, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships. What You’ll Learn:

• How to develop and execute sales & marketing campaigns for movie premieres and exclusive events.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in selling and marketing premiere tickets, securing pre-sales, and driving audience engagement.

• Identify and build relationships with sponsors, brand partners, and influencers to promote events.

• Develop social media content and campaigns to generate excitement for film premieres.

• Help create and distribute marketing materials (graphics, videos, promotional emails).

• Conduct market research on target audiences, competitor strategies, and industry trends.

• Assist in coordinating and promoting live and virtual events, including screenings, red carpets, and VIP experiences.

• Track and analyze ticket sales data, audience engagement, and campaign performance to optimize marketing strategies.

• Engage with online communities, respond to inquiries, and drive social media interactions.

 

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Film, or a related field.

• Passion for event marketing, entertainment, and audience engagement.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X/Twitter).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a passion for selling and marketing events.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in event planning, ticket sales, or promotional marketing.

• Familiarity with CRM tools, email marketing platforms, and digital advertising.

• Basic knowledge of graphic design, video editing, or content creation.

• Interest in AI-driven marketing and its role in the entertainment industry.

 

Details:

Duration: 10 weeks (aligned with your school's academic calendar).

Hours: Flexible, 8–16 hours per week.

Compensation: Unpaid; students must enroll in an academic internship course for credit.
