Position highlights
As a Correctional phlebotomist you will be:
- Perform a variety of routine specimen collection and laboratory procedures;
- Directly interacting with the inmate population;
- Encouraging compliance with ordered labs and forensic DNA collection; Interacting with immune compromised individuals;
- Other duties as assigned.
This unique population requires skills necessary to draw from those with habitual IV drug use and other conditions.
This position is full time on first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
