Secondary Science Teacher – Papillion Middle School

Description: Responsibilities include helping students develop skills to perform scientific investigation, critical thinking and effective problem-solving.  The specific assignment associated with this position will depend upon the strengths and experiences of the candidate and the needs of the building.

Qualifications: Nebraska Department of Education Teacher Certification with Science Endorsement

Salary: The school district pays based on a Negotiated Pay Scale determined by degree and years of experience.

Benefits: PLCS pays 100% of the healthcare premium for employee only PPO insurance plans and all high deductible plans. PLCS pays 93% of the premium for all other PPO plans. Through the Nebraska School Employees Retirement System 9.78% of the gross salary is deposited into a retirement account. The District matches the contribution at the rate of 101%.
