We implement 401(k)s, 403(b)s, Defined Benefit Plans, SEP & Simple IRAs, ROBS, ESOPS, Church Plans, and even plans for Cannabis companies. Through our open architecture recordkeeping services, we provide investment advisors, managers, plan sponsors and participants access to traditional and nontraditional investments.
Department Responsibilities
The Business Development Team includes sales and marketing team members and interns that are responsible for promoting the business and mission of the company. Team members serve as the face of the company, coordinating and producing all materials representing the business. Team members reach out to prospects, customers, investors, and/or the community, while creating an overarching image that represents Leading Retirement Solutions in a positive light. The sales team members build relationships with our customers. Team members work together to identify a customer’s unique needs and make sure that those needs are met.
Role Responsibilities
- Source contact information (company name, decision maker name, address, email, & phone number) for companies, registered investment advisors, CPAs, audit firms, payroll/HR/PEO companies
- Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency using multiple software programs
- Prospective outreach including phone calls, emails, and scheduling meetings on behalf of the Business Development Team
- Assist in the creation and implementation of sales strategies and support the Business Development Team with operational requirements
- Attend weekly sales team meetings and participate in sales presentations to prospects
- Assist sales representatives with generating proposals, campaigns, and sales collateral
- Support business development projects and provide continuous feedback
- Complete learning modules on the Retirement Plan Fundamentals
Qualifications
- Current student majoring in Marketing, Business Administration or another related field
- Ability to support multiple projects efficiently and effectively simultaneously
- Strong command of technology and ability to learn new software solutions
- Proficient multitasker, strong attention to detail, self-driven, extremely organized, and resourceful
- Proven record of accomplishment in a fast-paced and rapid-changing environment
- Excellent communication skills and forward thinking with solid problem-solving skills
- Professional demeanor, ability to work with others as well as independently
- Experience with company sponsored retirement plans and/or experience in sales or marketing is a plus, but not required
