YouTube Intern: Real Content. Real Potential. Résumé Gold.
YouTube Intern: Make Our Story Shine. Grow the Channel from Scratch.
What if your next video helped educators, families, and national retailers fall in love with something that matters?
TA-DA! Language Productions is looking for a YouTube Intern who’s ready to turn a goldmine of footage into a powerful, engaging channel. We’re a woman-founded, award-winning startup on the rise—already in Nordstrom, preparing for Sharper Image, and just named a finalist for Educational Toy of the Year.
Our products bring language, music, and culture to life through screen-free talking books—and we have days of raw classroom, retail, and founder footage just waiting to be shaped into something incredible.
You’ll also have access to original brand music and a professionally produced sound logo by our music director and a 19-time Grammy-winning producer behind artists like Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, and Shakira. We have behind-the-scenes footage and sound that deserves to shine.
This is your chance to own the channel, shape the voice, and grow a platform from the ground up.
🚀 Why This Internship Is Different
- You won’t just clip things together—you’ll build the YouTube presence from scratch
- You can edit existing footage or film your own (product explainers, founder interviews, how-to shorts, etc.)
- You’ll work directly with the founder and have full creative input
- You’ll collaborate with other interns (if you want!) and shape cross-platform stories
- You’ll help turn YouTube into a true brand storytelling engine for families, educators, and buyers
🌟 What You’ll Get
- A portfolio of videos that actually ran and helped grow a national brand
- Credit for building a strategy from zero to traction
- Mentorship, feedback, and a seat at the table
- Flexible remote hours (roughly 1 hour/day or 7–10 hours/week)
- Academic credit (if needed)
- Potential to grow into a paid role after 60 days
💡 What You’ll Do
- Shape and lead our YouTube content strategy from the ground up
- Edit and publish engaging videos using our brand’s raw footage library
- Repurpose blog content, classroom clips, and product explainers into shorts or long-form videos
- Brainstorm new video ideas (Q&As, parent stories, educator interviews, behind-the-scenes, etc.)
- Create content that can support marketing, sales, outreach, and preorder campaigns
- Experiment with formats, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, tags
- Track views, engagement, and growth to optimize the channel
✅ Requirements
- You have strong video editing skills and a clear sense of story
- You’re confident with YouTube, shorts, and visual platforms
- You’re familiar with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar tools
- You’re organized, creative, and open to feedback
- You care about doing meaningful work, not just trend-chasing
- Bonus: you’re passionate about language, education, music, or storytelling
🗓 Logistics
- Minimum 60-day unpaid internship (can grow into a paid PT/FT role)
- Remote, flexible hours (just be consistent and communicative)
- Founder available for mentorship and check-ins every 2–3 days or as needed
- Academic credit available
💸 Why This Role Is Currently Unpaid
We’re in early-stage growth—every dollar is going into product development and getting our tools into the hands of the kids who need them most. But we’re scaling fast, and this role could become a paid position soon.
This internship offers:
- Real ownership and leadership from day one
- The chance to grow a YouTube channel with incredible footage + purpose
- Direct mentorship and full creative freedom
- A portfolio that stands out
